Chewy Coconut Bars
Oh my, people....these are exceptional! We live in Belize and have too many coconuts. We needed a way to use some of them up. We doubled the recipe, increased the coconut to 1 1/2 c. and reduced the chocolate chips so we could taste the coconut more. They smelled so good, that the neighbors actually came over while they were baking! We cut them into very small pieces since they are sweet and there are plenty left over for tomorrow. Thank you Myrtis for this fabulous recipe! Happy eating!

Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits
I hate to leave a bad review but I just made 2 batches of these and neither of them rose well at all. I thought the first was a fluke, so i tried again. The only thing I did differently was to double the batch both times. I did everything else exactly as the recipe stated. Really wish these would have worked out.

Miss Betty's Super Quick Dinner Rolls
I love these! I tripled the recipe and it made a baker's dozen. I figured these would be great and they were! With sunny-side up eggs, these made a fabulous meal my hubby and kids loved! There are 11 of us and everyone wanted 2nds so next time I will have to make multiple triple batches. I used a pampered chef muffin pan and one corelle wear tea cup to bake these in, and both methods were great. One note though, they did take about 10 minutes longer to bake than stated but that could simply be an oven difference. Thanks!
