Delicious Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
I got rave reviews for this recipe! Even though I had run out of bread flour and was too lazy to go to the store, it still turned out fantastic even though I used plain/all-purpose flour. The only thing is, next time I would not let it rise in the bowl covered with olive oil. It made the bottom of my loaves slightly on the soggy side -- but only just slightly. DELICIOUS recipe. Will definitely bake it again and again.

Jen's Almond Cardamom Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2006
A yummy cookie, but I am personally very heavy-handed with my spices, and I enjoy more flavorful cookies. This recipe did not call for nearly enough cardamom. You can barely taste it, with all the other flavors competing with it. When I make it next time, I will definitely increase the amount of cardamom, but nevertheless, the cookies were delicious! The lemon was a nice touch.

Indian Style Basmati Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2006
Since I am usually heavy-handed with my spices, I always double the amount of spices called for in recipes. I did the same for this one, and it was fantastic. People commented that it was very "authentic" and flavorful.

The Best Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
This cookie got rave reviews from everyone when I actually used extra cocoa powder, which not only made a darker, more chocolatey-appealing cookie than the picture, and it also counter-balanced the sweetness of the sugar. My cookies didn't turn out flat at all! They came out big and fluffy, and they stayed chewy all week (they probably would've stayed chewy for longer, but people loved them so much, they didn't last that long).
