Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
These cookies were really good and super easy to make. I would add more maple syrup next time just to give them a bit more punch. I also used brown sugar/sugar/syrup to roll the cookies in. These cookies are best in small sizes...making large versions of these cookies would loose the effect. Overall great recipe and I can't wait to see if the guy I'm making for likes them!

Easy Guacamole

Excellent recipe! I modified this slightly for the ingredients I had on hand: i used two small avocados, 1/4 red onion, 3tbsps or so of salsa, a splash of lemon juice, a small clove of garlic and a few twists of ground sea salt. Delicious and Quick!

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2007
This recipe was delicious! I completely cheated and didn't follow the recipe to a T. My version used a very nice slightly crusty bread, cheddar cheese, green, yellow and red peppers, zucchini and red onion. For the mayo I didn't have time to chop real garlic so I just used garlic powder. Also I put all the ingredients on the sandwich, open face, then I grilled them in my toaster oven. So I cheated but the results were absolutely delicious!

New England Bean Dip

This is a great easy to do recipe. In the midst of my exams and the Canadian winter I did not want to spend a lot of time making food or venturing out for ingredients. Having most of the ingredients on hand (except relish and horshradish, as well as using fresh garlic instead of powdered, and red onion instead of white) and throwing them all in the food processer I had exam food within 5 minutes with little clean up. The recipe was great even missing some ingredients.

Very yummy recipe but I added a tsp. of olive oil to it and made it in a food processer to make it a bit more smooth.

Pan Pierogies

This recipe was good. I also used homemade mash potatoes for this recipe. I thought this recipe would lack a little something so I added bacon to one of the layers (pre cooked it) and thought it was a yummy addition. Overall a pretty good weeknight recipe.

Chicken, Stuffing and Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
Yummy quick cassarole. Didn't have any cream of chicken soup so I instead used about 1 1/2 cups of milk and two tbsp of chicken stock powder. I also mixed the cheese and stuffing into the recipe to hold it all together.
