Hearty Turkey Stew with Vegetables

This was really, really tasty. The only deviation from the recipe was that I slightly cooked the raw turkey breast with the vegetables prior to adding the broth and I didn't have green peppers, so added peas. We didn't expect this to taste so delicious because it's so simple - but, it was exceptionally good.

Tanya's Louisiana Southern Fried Chicken

Really loved this dish. Have been trying to make decent fried chicken for half a century and finally achieved it. The only thing I did different was I set my electric skillet to 350 and fried this slow and long. 20 minutes on one side, 15 on the other and it was perfect - really juicy and good.

Spinach Salad with Peaches and Pecans

Really great salad. I've made it with Mangos when peaches were out of season and it was just as good. Also, have always served this with Poppyseed Dressing II - perfect!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Really good. Makes quite a few cookies. I doubled the recipe for my X-mas boxes and got ALOT of cookies. Next year I think one batch will do.

Apple Cole Slaw

This is a pretty good cole slaw recipe. I omitted the brown sugar from the recipe and thought that the flavor was just right without it.

Southern Pulled Pork

I discovered this recipe about 6 weeks ago and have made it four times. It's very good and easy to make for a crowd. I normally let the adults dip in, then add BBQ sauce to the meat for the kids who seem to prefer it that way. Thanks for a well-loved dish!

Chicken Pot Pie IV

This recipe was easy, fast and excellent. My entire family, including my sons who are picky eaters, loved this. Our leftovers normally remain in the fridge until I toss them, this pie was gone by noon the next day. Thanks!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I thought these would be great since 3000+ rated them and they had 5 stars. They had an artificial taste due to the pudding (I think) and the texture was off. My first batch was too buttery, I added some flour and that made the cookies too cakey. Also, if you're going to make these, cut the recipe in half. I made the whole thing and we have enough cookies for a year. I wouldn't recommend this recipe.
