Good potato salad, would add some bacon next time. Would give it a little more flavor. I also added dill.

Sugared Rhubarb Muffins

Reviewed: May 4, 2011
I made these muffins with some frozen rhubarb left over from our CSA. They are amazing!!!!!! I love them. I added some vanilla to the wet ingredients and used less sugar for the tops but added cinnamon. They are delicious. I look forward to making these again!

Peach Pie

Great recipe. I used up peaches from our csa. I followed krista v. Recommendation and used blueberries and cinnamon and nutmeg. What a hit. I'll definitely make this one again.

Pesto Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
I love this pesto recipe. I cut the amount of garlic in half to prevent it from over powering the other flavors. I've used the pesto over pasta with sun dried tomatoes and it is excellent. I've also put it on grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella and garden tomatoes. Yum!!!,

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
I'm not a big potato salad person but this potato salad was very good. I used both red and yellow potatoes. I also used low fat mayo and it tasted fine.

Oma's Rhubarb Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
Excellent cake. We received rhubarb from our csa this week and I wanted to try a new recipe. I made it exactly as stated. The only bad thing I can say is that it's not healthy, loaded with sugar but it sure tastes good.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
I served this at a chocolate themed party. It was a big hit. I shaped it into a heart and topped it with mini chocolate chips. I didn't have pecans on hand. One guest said it was like eating cannoli filling. I served it with graham crackers and some strawberries for garnish.

Soft Mahi Mahi Tacos with Ginger-Lime Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
We loved it. I omitted the sauce on my taco and still loved it. My 4 year old said it was great just a little messy. Note, do not use low carb tortillas. They can't handle the heavy juicy weight of the fish, mango, avocado.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
This is an excellent broccoli side dish. Everyone loved the flavor and ate every last bite. I would use the sauce in a stir fry dish too.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
This was a terrific recipe. You can't taste the beer which made me happy since I am not a beer drinker. Mine came out more like a stew than a soup.

I made the restaurant style zuppa toscano from this site and I found this recipe to be much better. Used up the kale from our csa when making this great soup.

Oatmeal Raisin Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
These were good cookies for the holidays. I don't think they were outstanding because you couldn't taste the toffee flavor that well.

Blueberry Walnut Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
Yummy! I added some apple and you must toast the walnuts to bring out their flavor. I only had balsamic vinegar dressing and that worked well.

Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Zucchini

My family enjoyed this. The zucchini we received from our CSA was small so I cut up the zucchini and made the dish that way. It was easy and tasty.
