About this Cook
I am married with two small children.I am a stay at home mom. My husband is in the Air Force. I make dinner almost every day and dessert at least once a week. I make most of our meals completely from scratch
My favorite things to cook
Anything my family requests, spaghetti, and anything chocolate.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday cooking is a big thing(I am from Alabama).Thanksgiving is not just turkey and stuffing. In addition to that we have ham, chitterlings, homemade cranberry sauce, squash, green beans, mac n cheese, corn, potato salad, ribs, cornish hens, a variety of cakes and pies and more.Biscuits don't come from a can in Alabama. I believe my mother would kill me if I tried it.
My cooking triumphs
I have never been unable to make anything. Luckily I'm kitchen gifted and everything always comes out good. I also copycat many restaurants' recipes. It saves money on takeout.
My cooking tragedies
I have learned that there is such a thing as too much chocolate.

Fluffy French Toast
Perfect. I made this with my homemade bread. My kids could not get enough. Even my husband, who thinks french toast is too eggy, ate more than his share.
