Michelle's Peanut Butter Marbled Brownies

Holy cow! These are so rich! These are brownies you'll only want to make once a year, for your health, but they are incredible!! I think next time I might add a bit more flour to make them a little less fudgy, and maybe a bit more peanut butter. The peanut butter flavor wasn't as strong as I was hoping for, but they are still unbelievable, best brownies I've ever had!

Husband's Delight

This wasn't as great as some people sad, but not as bad as others did. I made a few changes... I just mixed the noodles in with all the meat, so the noodles on top didn't dry out. I also used another can of tomotoes like others said to. I poured 1/2 the meat noddle mix in the pan, then added the cream cheese mix and then the rest of the meat and topped with cheddar. It was pretty good but some bites had to strong of cream cheese taste... next time I'm going to just mix all the ingeredients, but the cheddar, in a big bowl, put in the pan, top with cheddar and bake... you end up mixing it all up on your plate anyway. I'll make this again for dinners but it won't be a huge family favorite.

Extra Easy Hummus

This was my first experience with hummus, so I don't have any idea what it's supposed to taste like. I also hate Chick Peas. I put half the cumin like others said and I doubled the salt and olive oil. It was pretty good. I wouldn't crave it over brownies or anything but if you're into healthy, this is the way to go.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

So easy!! A little crumbly so the next time I made them I added another egg, that helped. Very heavy and so good.

Buttermilk Corn Bread

Perfect!! Moist and sweet! Not great for your pants size but tastes great. I've never been a fan of cornbread but this was so good. Best I've ever had!

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Burnt a little on bottom, eventhough I took it out early. Can't even taste honey at all, I'd rather leave it out and just put it on top of a slice. Not great but I've had worse.

Baked Flan

This was very sweet and tasted great, but the texture was kinda strange, like baked scrambled eggs. It wasn't as thick I was hoping it would be. It all fell apart when I dished it up. I don't know if I did something wrong or not. My husband doesn't like flan and he said he liked it much better than the mix I've used, in the boxes. All in all I would make this again, maybe reducing the milk a little or using a thicker milk. This was a good recipe though, I'm sure other people's probably came out better, and I just did something to it without knowing it!

Orange Beef-Style Tofu Stir-Fry

My husband and I were not fans of this recipe. To me the tofu was like having chunks of belgian waffles in the stir fry... we picked it out and ate the rest, which was alright.

Lower Fat Fudge Brownies

I used half splenda and half sugar, I think next time I try these I'll use all sugar and even add another fourth of a cup or something, they were pretty bitter, but have potential, certainly not as bad as a lot of people said... but not as good as others said either.
