I loved this recipe. I wanted to make my husband something fabulous for St. Paddy's day so I made this. It was so rich and tasty. We didn't have Guinness, but had some Michelob AmberBock on hand and it worked so well! Also added fresh basil from the garden. Wonderful! I will definately make it again!

Santa's Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

I can't say enough good things about this recipe. I baked these for my Christmas Cookie Gifts and everyone that tried them was absolutely blown away! I had several co-workers of mine and some of my husbands say they were the best cookies they have ever had! I followed the receipe for some, dusted others with cinnamon and added mini-chocolate chips to yet others. Each batch was better than the last. Thanks for starting a Christmas tradition!

French Apple Tart (Tarte de Pommes a la Normande)

This tart made me look like a professional! I cheated and used store bought puff pastry, omitted the brandy altogether and added raspeberries as a garnish to add color. Fabulous!

Real French Crepes

I have always been afraid of crepes...but felt the urge to try again despite my past failures and lo and behold, they were perfect! My husband thanks you for the banana cinnamon crepe extravaganza we had for breakfast last weekend. Can't wait to try them with chicken and white sauce!

MMMMM... Brownies

Unbelievable! Best ever....the only change I made was to add the remainder of the bag of chocolate chips as a "topping" before I baked them. Wow. Yum. If you love fudgy brownies, you will love these!

Peach Kuchen

Wonderful. The recipe was easy and a great way to use the seasonal fruit we had this summer. I added blueberries and raspberries as well as a granola topping.
