Such a great way to use up all the rhubarb! Not to sweet and not too sour! Delicious with coffee!

Chinese Cabbage Salad I

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
My friends say this is the best Chinese Cabbage Salad they have ever had! I always make a few changes, however: 1. Add another Tbsp. of soya sauce 2. Add some garlic puree or freshly pressed garlic (1 or 2 cloves) 3. Add the seasoning from the noodle package to the sauce (I use the oriental flavor) 4. Toast the noodles and nuts in a frying pan or in the oven until golden brown and then cool 5. Add toasted sliced almonds and sunflower seeds (more nuts is a definite must!) These additions make this salad to die for!

Spiced Peach Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
Well, I have to say these were pretty bland and I even added cinnamon, salt and nutmeg to the batter. These muffins are not very sweet and are low in fat, so I guess if you're looking for a healthy muffin then these would be good.

These were great! A good way to use up extra/older carrots. And they look great too, nice and orange, good for a Thanksgiving meal... I will make these again. Thanks.

Jacky's Fruit and Yogurt Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
Great recipe! I added more baking powder, 1/2 tsp of salt, 3 tbsp of sour cream and substituted 1 cup of blueberries with 1/2 cup of chopped apple and 1/2 cup finely chopped rhubarb. And I used oil instead of melted butter. The muffins came out light and fluffy and very moist. They were a big hit with the husband and kids. i will definitely use this recipe again with the above changes!

B Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2006
What an awesome HEALTHY muffin! I didn't have any blueberries or buttermilk, and so I made sour milk and added an extra banana instead and they came out sweet and moist and my kids and husband loved them. This is the best high fibre muffin recipe I have ever tried. Oh yeah, I also sprinked a few chocolate chips on the muffin tops before baking them. That made them a real bonus with the kids and hubby!
