About this Cook
I am a 48 year old male who loves to cook. I am also a minister and songleader. I do most of the cooking in our home. I have been married for almost 31 years. I love to preach, sing and cook.
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoy experimenting with various types of dishes. I enjoy cooking homemade Italian Spaghetti with meatballs. Homemade sauce, not jars and cans. I also like making breakfast foods, such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, bisquits and homemade gravy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
One of my favorite family traditions is making the giblet gravy for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I make it homemade from scratch. No pouches or jars for me.
My cooking triumphs
I made homemade Italian Spaghetti for my Pastor and his family. I actually had 14 people over for dinner. It turned out really well. I remember making 69 meatballs! Whew! Very rewarding in the end.
My cooking tragedies
It has been a long time on a tragedy in the kitchen. The only one I can remember was making omelettes. I almost tore them to peices trying to turn them. That, of course is not the only ones, just the ones I remember at the moment.

Cranberry, Sausage and Apple Stuffing
We loved this recipe! I made it for Thanksgiving Dinner and took to some friends from Church. They all loved it. I had to make it for my wife's ladies meeting at church as well. Thanks for the great recipes!
