Best Steak Marinade in Existence

great flavor! i marinated the steaks for 3 days (as we ended up not being home) and was a little worried the lemon juice would eat it up, but it was fine. will definately use this again.

Peach Cobbler II

first time i've ever made cobbler and i think only the second time i've ever even eaten it. i lean towards the crisps over the cobblers, but...this was really good! i made 2 in just a couple of days b/c i used peaches from my tree and i've got an abundance. the first batch was too much and overflowed my dish, so the second time i used a 9x13. i used 5 peaches and 1 cup of boiling water per suggestions and left the rest the same. not too sweet and i love the crunchy crust. definately a keeper.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

very good. i've never cooked with rhubarb before (in fact, i think this is only the second time i've even eaten it) and i followed the recipe exactly. next time i will add more fruit as i thought the crust was just a little too thick to the fruit ratio.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

this probably would have been better if i had fresh grated parm and fresh parsley. it was definately better than just plain ole' steaming. next time i will lower the temp on the over to 425 or 400. the florets had already started burning at the half way mark when i stirred. all in all it was good and i'll definately make again.

i didn't like the relish at all and the mayo was way too much. it was too wet and didn't really taste like tuna. will try it again but with less mayo and no relish.

the only thing i did differently was add a couple TB of ground flax seed, but other than that, followed the recipe exactly. i had high hopes b/c of the great reviews but i just didn't care for this. no flavor.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

this was pretty good. i made few subs to make it healthier. i used turkey sausage and turkey bacon and fat free 1/2 & 1/2 and added kale instead of spinach. i bet if i had made as is it would have been out of this world and i probably will make as the recipe states just to see how it compares to the restaurant version.

Quinoa and Black Beans

MMMMMMMMMM...i'm trying to incorporate more grains into my family's food and this is the second time i've tried quinoa. the first was the turkey quinoa meatloaf from this site and it was alright. but THIS...this is awesome! little spicy for my kids but i can adjust for that. i made just as specified except i added some chopped grape tomatoes and some crumbled cotija cheese. this is going into the rotation. will be great wrapped up in tortillas too!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

first time making cornbread from scratch and this recipe was awesome. it's sweeter than i thought it would be but still good. i doubled the batch and used FF plain yougurt instead of buttermilk. baked it in a pre-heated 12" cast iron skillet for 35 mins.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

my first apple pie ever and it came out wonderful! i did a mix of fuji and granny smith apples then tossed them in with some of the sauce. the remaining sauce i drizzled over the crust. great flavor and texture. some pies are so sickenly sweet and this one was not. definate keeper.

great dip! i served this for a New Year's Eve party with apple and orange slices and some pound cake chunks. i used light strawberry cream cheese, couple T oj & cup of cool whip folded in. everyone loved it.

great dish! i did make a mistake and threw everything into one pot before i realized that the rice and veggies were cooked seperately. but it came out fabulous anyway. served this with Beef Bulgogi from this site.
