California Broccoli Salad

I liked the broccoli and turkey bacon together. Not sure what I thought of the sauce. A little sweet, would like something more tangy.

Cranberry and Apple Casserole

Orange Zest Cake

I like the orange zest, but beyond that it was pretty bland. Like an orange cornbread without the corn. Maybe it would be better warmed up with butter and honey just like cornbread.

Egg-Free Chocolate Chippers

Five stars if you increase the cinnamon and vanilla. Amazing - you can't taste the Splenda in the cookie if you use real chocolate chips. Not too pumpkin-y either. Very light and fluffy!

Hoisin Chicken Salad with Green Onions

Great flavor but needed a little more dressing. If you like it sweet, add more hoisin sauce. We had it over fresh cabbage - nice summer dish!

I liked this more than I thought I would. Tuna was balanced nicely with the fresh dill, pickles, and onions. Great alternative for the kids (and adults) who love tuna sandwiches! In fact, make extra, leave out the pasta, and it would make a great tuna sandwich mix.

Easy Vegetable Tortilla Soup

This recipe has a strong emphasis on the "Vegetable" part of the name. However, if you want to play up the "Torilla" angle, I would recommend spicing it up with some fresh lime juice, a teaspoon of red chili powder and maybe even green chiles. Ole!

Very Strawberry Shortcake

Be sure to keep your biscuits thin so that the strawberry-Splenda-vinegar mix seeps in nicely. If you don't want to use whipped cream, a little frozen yogurt would work as well.
