Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
this was AWESOME. made it this morning, it's 10pm right now, and i'm pretty sure it's all gone alreayd.... pureed my own butternut squash, added about 1tsp more cinnamon, no cloves. this made 2 loaves (1 with walnuts, 1 without) and a whole bunch of mini-muffins. the muffins took about 15 minutes, and loaves took about 45 minutes.

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
Yummy! They came out so fluffy and light inside, but nice and crispy on the outside. I just made these scones 3-ways. 1-fresh blueberries+meyer lemon zest and glaze. 2-dried cranberries topped with sliced almonds. 3-plain ole chocolate chips =) Didn't make any drastic changes. Just reduced baking powder to 3 tsp (1Tbs) and I think added 1 less Tbs of butter.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
like other reviewers, we found the sauce a bit runny. but it tasted pretty good, and is a healthier alternative to other pasta sauces like alfredo.

Good Dog Cookies

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
i own a grooming shop, so occasionally i bake some treats for our clients. and they absolutely loved these cookies! they smelled so good that one of my clients' kid tried one too and said it was pretty good. you can make a big batch and save it in an airtight container for at least a couple of weeks.

Poppy Seed Bread with Glaze

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
everyone absolutely loved this bread. second time i made it i did a loaf without the icing because they complained that it was too sweet. but i think the icing really makes this bread. so next time i'll probably cut down the sugar in the bread and keep the glaze =)

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
this recipe was alright, although i really didn't care for the dry onion soup mix. it gave it a weird stale/processed taste and smell (i cant put it into words). if i decide to make this again, i will leave that out and add in some sliced fresh onions.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2006
the sauce is delicious. i did however add additional chicken broth while in the saucepan. and i used fat free cream cheese and added some chopped up green onions. substituted fettucine for the angel hair. next time i'll double the sauce though, it seems to run out quickly. =P

Cheese Cake Cups

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
super easy to make and quick too. i used a graham cracker crust instead and made them in little mini-muffin cups. i also made a strawberry glaze to pour over it.

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2006
this was a pretty good recipe except there was way too much honey for my taste. the pork came out nice and tender though.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2006
great recipe, but we used fresh garlic and onions instead of powders and used lemon instead of lime. also doubled the spice rub. made a dinner of this along with some 'pan fried asparagus' and grilled zucchini
