Peanut Butter Candy Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
My family and friends really enjoyed these. I followed the recipe exactly. If you want to speed up the cooling time, stick them in the freezer for about half an hour. They're great if you store them in the refrigerator!

Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2006
I used this recipe to make 3 mini loaves, and they were done in 35 minutes. I followed the suggestions of others and used 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 3/4 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, and 3 and a half bananas. I made one loaf plain, one loaf w/ choc. chips, and one loaf w/ chopped pecans. I really liked the taste of all 3 but they didn't rise as much as I'd hoped, so I might add baking soda next time.

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
This was pretty good, but it just tasted like a peanut butter and banana sandwich to me.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
These scones were AMAZING!! I made cinnamon chip scones by using a tip from a previous review and adding 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 cup cinnamon chips, and cinnamon sugar on top. My only suggestion would be to press the dough into a square shape and cut them into bars rather than wedges because mine came out very large. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
These were delicious!! The only trouble I had was making the top layer of chocolate go on smoothly. I would recommend microwaving the chocolate on 70% power for 45 seconds, stir, then maybe 15 more seconds, or until smooth. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2006
This tasted great!! I used it over a banana chocolate chip bundt cake and my friends and family loved it! It didn't drizzle very well, but that's better than being too runny, so I can't complain.
