Old Charleston Style Shrimp and Grits

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2014
Tried it tonight, but cut the recipe in half because there is just 2 of us. It was probably the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. Made as written except I left out the cheese. The grits were rich enough without it. I will definitely make this again.

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
Made this tonight after marinating for almost 48 hours, it was great. I did make a sauce from the left over marinade and the pan dripping and it added alot to the tenderloin. I am sure that I will make this many more times.

Skillet Ham, Cabbage and Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
Made this last night and it was great. Followed other suggestions and cooked the onions and potatoes first, then added ham, then added cabbage last. Used chicken broth instead of water. Left out the salt and papricka. Added black pepper. Its even better after sitting overnight. Thanks for something different.

Lemon Chicken III

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
Made as written except for doubling the sauce. Excellent-not too lemony. Did have to increase the cooking time because my chicken breasts were so thick. Will be thrilled to make again.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
Very Good! I also used fresh onion and garlic and blanched the peppers for 2 minutes. I used a can of diced tomatoes that were seasoned with garlic and oregano in the mixture instead of the tomato sauce. I added italian seasoning to the mixture. Instead of tomato sauce on the top I used a jar of prego roasted garlic and parmesan spagetti sauce mixed with more italian seasoning. Great way to use the peppers growing in my back yard.

Lobster Mornay Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I thought this was very good. I did add a little garlic and I used shrimp, scallops, and lobster. For some reason I had to cook it much longer and the sauce never did really get thick.
