Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
First time using a bread machine and only second attempt at making cinnamon rolls. LOVED THIS RECIPE! Not quite Cinnabon but really, really close. Took some time but definitely saves you money. Will definitely make this recipe again.

Hearty Beef Stew

I've never been able to make a decent beef stew...until now. This recipe is fabulous. Followed it exactly and it came out perfect in the crockpot. Will definitely make again!

Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
Made this for my Mom (who loves green beans) and she loved it. Though I've never eaten a green bean in my life I really liked this one. Mom has requested I make it for our next dinner together!

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
For a pizza crust that didn't require rising, it was very good. It was fairly quick and very easy. I used bread flour instead of regular flour and I added about 1/2 more flour than called for; without the extra flour it seemed too gooey. That may not happen if you use regular flour, which I didn't have on hand at the time. I also used a pizza stone instead of a pan; just sprinkled from cornmeal first so it didn't stick. I then put the sauce on it and baked it for about ten minutes and THEN put the toppings and cheese on it and cooked about another 15 minutes. I will definitely make this again, especially when short on time and craving pizza!

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
Excellent recipe! I never thought I'd find one better than Mom's, but I think this is it! I doubled the dough recipe as I make the cream puffs a little larger. I also used Hershey's syrup to drizzle on top and sprinkled some confectionary sugar on top. Brought them work and most were gone by lunch time! I LOVE these cream puffs. I bake them until brown on the top; otherwise, if you don't bake long enough, they will collapse when taken out of oven. I also cut a slit in each after they'd been in the oven for about 20 minutes.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I love french toast and I have to say, this was the best I've been able to make! The flour made the difference. I used cheap white bread as that's all I had available and it still came out great. I'm sure it would have been even better with better bread! I'll definitely use this recipe each time I make french toast in the future.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
This recipe is really, really good. Normally my choc. chip cookies turn out flat and after a cooling turn crunchy. I like soft choc chip cookies and this recipe certainly delivered. It has to be the pudding. I also noticed that after placing the cookies on a paper towel lined plate, they didn't leave behind any grease. Brought these to work and they were gone that day. Very, very nice texture. I did add a little extra vanilla flavoring but otherwise followed the recipe (without the nuts). The only thing I'd do differently next time is I'd double the amount of chocolate chip morsels. Also, the recipe makes a lot of good size cookies. I made 5 trays of cookies and they all came out rather large and thick. I will use this recipe from now on! Thanks!
