Quick Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
this was really simple and easy to make. i used pasta seasoning instead of parsley as that is what i had on hand. i paired this with a store-bought butternut squash ravioli : dinner in a snap!

Greek Pita Pizzas

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
hanks for this super-easy, wonderful recipe. made this for lunch today-it was so delish! i used onion pitas, arugula instead of spinach since i had that on hand and fresh basil leaves. also added a sprinking of red pepper flakes on top for some heat. the combination of flavors works really well, it was crunchy and satisfying. ready in a jiffy too!

Garden Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
i followed the other reviewers' advice and went easy on the Italian Dressing(used a fat free version)but found the salad to be just a touch bland. Added some zest with sliced black olives and cubed mozzarella. This recipe can be adapted well to suit different tastes. next time will try it with a creamy dressing.

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2006
this was quite nice..i added zucchini to add some additional color, and threw in some chopped marjoram along with the other herbs. the leftovers worked really well on french bread spread with pesto and grilled.

i made this cake to use up some leftover crushed pineapple. halved all the ingredients and made a smaller round cake. my hubby LOVED it! we chilled it for an hour after icing it and it was even yummier..

Cherry Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2006
this was yummmmm!so fresh and crisp..the pinenuts were an absolute delight. i halved the oil, used brown sugar and balsamic vinegar and increased the cherry tomatoes to 50. i also did not halve the tomatoes as they were becoming limp when i tried that. will definitely make this again and again!
