Cajun Chicken Pasta

Im so dissapointed that I was dissapointed with this recipe. After all the review I was expecting something so much better. It smelled great while cooking, but there was hardly any flavour. I may make it again, and hope this time was a fluke.

Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Rollups

Yummy!!! I followed some of the suggestions made by others - added Onion, bread crumbs, veggy bouillion cube and red wine to the stuffing. I added thyme, paprika and black pepper to the bread crumbs. Rolling the chicken is a little tricky, and keeping it together was difficult until I started breaking the toothpicks in half and just tackinghte pieces of chicken closed. I used mushroom soup instead of the cream, and it was worth all the fiddling!!! I will make this one again!!

Erin's Indonesian Chicken

This recipe was really good. I have a small kitchen so I didn't use as many different pans as the recipe stated. I first cooked the chicken, and removed it from the pan. I added the sauce ingredients to the pan to cook, then added the beans and I added some water chestnuts (yum!). I put the chicken back in at the end to re-heat, and absorb some flavour.

Tuscan Soup

I enjoyed this recipe, but found is not quite spicy enough. I wonder if it because I rinced the meat to get rid of some of the fat as another user suggested. I'll try it again.

Allie's Mushroom Pizza

Pretty good. Next time I'll add some garlic as others have suggested, and some ground black pepper. Maybe some basil and oregano too. It makes WAY too much oil - 1/3 would be more than enough!!

Spinach and Mushroom Salad

Very yummy and very easy. The most time consuming bit was removing the stems from the spinach. The next time I make it I might not bother. I didn't have any cider vinegar, so I used regular white vinegar, and I loved it. Next time I probably won't add any salt to the dressing as the bacon contains enough by itself.

Oven Stew with Burgundy Wine

mmm, yummy!! I love this recipe just as it is, but after reading some of the reviews I may follow some of the ideas (a little more liquid, add potatoes, mushrooms, onion) I used baby carrots to cut down on chopping. This recipe freezes well.

Chicken with Tomato, Orange and Rosemary Couscous

Pretty good. The flavoured couscous this recipe calls for is unavailable here, so I ccoked one clovee of garlic in about 1.5 tbsp. of olive oil before I added the white wine and water.

Maple Salmon

Wow!!! This recipe was incredible!!!! So incredibly simple, and tastes wonderfull. I didn't use the garlic salt, as I thought there would be enough salt with the soy sauce, and the garlic clove had enough flavour by itself. Next time I'll try baking it in foil to reduce clean up - unbelievably making this recipe even simpler!

Pan Sauce Chicken

It was good, but perhaps needed something more. I'll make it again and experiment. To solve the problem of the clumping flour, I added 1/3 of a cup of the hot broth to the flour mixture before adding it to the rest of the broth. Worked wonders - I had no problems.

Really simple and Really good. Best if served right out of the oven with butter. Just don't make them with baking soda, like I did once when I was rushed and not paying attention. YUCK. :-)
