Classic Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: May 11, 2012
Excellent, fool-proof recipe. As another reviewer said, good cooks know to season with salt and pepper to taste. So to all the complainers, I ask you to re-try this recipe with that in mind next time and see if your rating doesn't change. Very good recipe. Thanks for posting!!!

Very good. Needed a bit more broth, and I added 2 cups celery and carrots to bulk it up more, but otherwise very yummy. Thanks for sharing!

General Tsao's Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
BEST HOMEMADE GENERAL TSO'S WE'VE EVER HAD - THANK YOU!!! My husband and sons LOVE this dish and it's all they order when we get take-out. Now I can make it at home and truly, it is SOOOOO much better. Your sauce rocks, and the chicken frying method is to DIE for! Will be using that method again and again in other dishes. Thank you so much for the tip and the fantastic recipe!!!!!

Phyllo Chicken Packets

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
I'm sorry, I love Phyllo recipes, but this one did not do it for me. Turned out soggy and filling was a little bland. Maybe I'll try again, and marinate the chicken first and substituting something for the mayo, as I think once cooked, it has a strange flavor and becomes thin (which may be why they got soggy).

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
Amazing is spot-on! Truly one of the most delicious pork tenderloins I have ever eaten! My family could not get enough. Next time I will put two tenderloins in the crockpot and double the recipe! I did follow another reviewer's suggestion and studded the meat with garlic, which was a fantastic tip. I also did have to add chicken broth over the top to completely cover the meat (maybe my crock was a size too large?). It turned out just AMAZING! Thanks for the great recipe!!!!!

Egg Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
Very good noodle for soup. Things I did a little different: After reading some reviews, I boiled the noodles separately in Chicken Broth colored with a few drops of yellow food coloring, then added them to my soup. I also used a pasta roller to roll out the dough, but left it very thick (#6) and used the fettuccini setting to roll out the strips. Then I just cut them to about 1 1/2 " lengths. Made awesome Kluski-style noodles! Will make again, thanks so much for the recipe! ***Later Note: have made these about 50 times. Always perfect. Have started adding yellow food coloring per another review, and also adding 2 tsp chicken bouillon powder to the flour for even more amazing flavor! Thanks again!!!

Easy-To-Stuff Manicotti

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2011
What a GREAT idea!! Especially for kids helping in the kitchen! Try it with cooked Italian bulk sausage stuffed into either end of the manicotti after you slide the string cheese in. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing this concept!
