Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
I've made this on numerous occassions with only 2 adds - 1 to 2 teaspoons of hickory smoke and a little red chili sauce for a little spice. This work great as sliders. I preferred dinner rolls over the mini hamburger buns. Dinner rolls with a little melted butter and slightly toasted with shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes makes for a perfect game day meal or just any type of meal for a large crowd. I did this on a game day and everyone loved making their sliders as I continuously toasted the rolls and yelled "Hot Buns, come and get it" as I took the rolls out of the oven. Mmmm mmm good!!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
I have not used a pancake mix since trying this recipe one year ago. I have followed the recipe exactly and they came out tastey and fluffly. It is very important to sift as instructed in the recipe. After reading the reviews, I sit my milk and eggs out for just an hour prior to preparing the pancakes. Now, for my variation on the recipe. I typically add about a teaspoon of Vanilla, two teaspons of cinnamon, and one teaspoon of nutmeg, sometimes a little more of each. I aslo add about 1/4 cup of walnut pieces and one sliced medium banana.... soooo good.

Simple Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
Any time I barbeque, I make these beans. My family loves them and they always come out fabulous. I use Bush's Thick and Rich Country Style Baked beans and typically scale the recipe to 15. Always Perfect!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I prepared this cake following the recipe with one exception after reading the other reviews, I added another teaspoon of vanilla. The cake was ready after 1 hour and 10 minutes. This was one of 3 cakes that I baked for Christmas and it was the biggest hit. Thanks so much for what will be one of my holiday classic recipes!!
