About this Cook
I have cooked for family and in resturants for years. Don't consider myself a Chef, just a really good Cook
My favorite things to cook
What ever I'm in the mood for at the moment. I love to grill.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Candy for the Holidays. My Mom made candy and I guess I got her flair for it. Also any family get together.
My cooking triumphs
I guess it would be learning to cook for several hundred people at on time for special events. Getting it all to come together at once and getting it served hot and good is quite a triumph. Of course didn't d it alone, I had some good help.
My cooking tragedies
Not to many that I can think of. Te one that comes to muind is an old boyfriend of mine decided we should try German food. I know nothing about it. So we made saurbraten for his son's birthday and it really wasn't very good.

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken
I used chicken legs, thighs and wings, bone in and skin on and grilled them. Everyone raved about it.

Champagne Shrimp and Pasta
I made this for my Honey last night for our Valentine dinner. This was to die for. The only thing I did different was I sauteed all of the veggies and added a clove of garlic. It was rich and flavorful and elegant for a special meal.

Cranberry Sauce Chicken II
After looking at the ingredents, I was somewhat skeptical, but I ecided to try it. Wow I sure am glad I did. I used leftover cranberry sauce and made my own russian dressing. It was fabulous. I love sweet and savory tigether and this hit it just right. My husband loved it too. Next time I made some garlic, just because I love garlic. Thanks for such a strange and really tasty dish.
