Bourbon Chicken

Manhattan Style Clam Chowder

As written, I give this four stars. I felt it needed more seasonings so I ended up adding a bay leaf, thyme, and minced garlic. I added the clams at the very end and only heated them through.

Maple Salmon

This is a wonderful recipe with great flavor using just a few ingredients. It takes no time at all to put together and is great for a weeknight meal. I am going to try this recipe with boneless, skinless chicken thighs tonight. The chicken is marinating in the fridge. Thanks so much for this great recipe!!

I thought this was good but a little bland. After adding more garlic, some oregano and basil, it tasted like 5 stars. I used sea scallops and served them over rice. Thank you!!

Slow Cooker Sweet Chicken Chili

I didn't have the black bean chili sauce but I did have a jar of black bean and garlic sauce and a jar of Thai chili sauce so I added a tablespoon of each. I thought the sauce needed something, so I added some garlic. We ate the chili with rice. Nice winter meal.

Coq Au Vin, My Way

I used 6 boneless skinless thighs and two boneless breasts. I followed the recipe except I cooked everything on the stove. I didn't have the cheese but I don't think it needed to be in there. Delicious chicken. Thank you.

Peppery Shrimp and Rice

This is a great dish to make after work. It is quick, easy and oh so good. I didn't have chili sauce but did have Thai chili sauce so that is what I used. I only added half of the red pepper flakes as we can't tolerate too much spice.
