Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2014
I made this, with a few modifications thanks to other comments, and in one case, my own preferences. Use ginger ale instead of water to make it a little sweeter.. and less sugar. Mix everything together in a pan and bring to boil, instead of in two sections, just make sure to stir constantly! I also added just a few semi-sweet chocolate chips to the pan to add just a little extra flavor, to match the chocolate pie crust I went with, instead of the traditional. It came out awesome!

Carrots ala Camille

An easy fix to plain old carrots. Great as a side to a more complex meal, or for something as simple as fried chicken

Orange Honey Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
I loved the marinade! I chose to use chicken breast rather than a whole chicken, though, so that cut down on cook time. 30-45 minutes at most, since you don't want to dry out the meat. I've made this a few times now, and it's always delicious. Sometimes I double up on the OJ, but it's tasty with the original recipe, too!

Mandarin Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
This was a fantastic chicken recipe and it turned out beautifully, despite being an easy thing to prepare. I didn't use the cashews the recipe called for, but it tasted wonderful, all the same. My kitchen smelled wonderful.
