French Butter Cakes (Madeleines)

These were fantastic!! I didn't have any lemon zest so I used 1/4 tsp lemon extract and they were a definite hit with a finicky crowd. We now call them "Encore's" cause they're so good you want more! Thanks!

Irish Soda Bread Cookies

Fantastic recipe! I left out the caraway seeds, used raisins in place of the currants and I dusted the finished cookies with confectioners sugar before serving. My customers were skeptical at first, but once they sampled a cookie my entire double batch was gone in less than 10 minutes!!!

Ciabatta Bread

Great recipe! I made 2 14" loaves today substituting canola oil and 2 1/4 C of GM High Gluten flour and 1 C GM H&R AP flour. Results - perfect thin crisp crust with a soft chewy interior. After it cooled my partner scarfed down one entire loaf, so it had to be good! Thanks for the recipe!

Bread Pudding II

Fantastic recipe! I made some adjustments, double the recipe, use 4 teaspoons of imitation vanilla extract, seedless Jewish rye bread, a lightly greased 11x15 pyrex baking dish, & after pouring the wet ingredients over the bread - press down lightly and let soak for 30-45 minutes before baking for 45-55 minutes @ 350 or until firm. My customers love it!

No Fail Pound Cake

The flavor of this cake is very good, however the texture is that of a boxed mix. For me a pound cake has a dense structure with very little crumb and that isn't the case with this recipe. I will make it again, but I won't advertise it as pound cake.
