Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
Excellent! Easy! And fun to skewer the chicken. I cooked these on my iron skillet, gave it a great char. Well done!

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
Yummy! Great flavor from the kielbasa. The potatoes just soaked it up. I didn't use vegetable oil, just let the kielbasa do its thing, and it turned out wonderfully.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
Great recipe! I made an Oreo crust and put mini chocolate-peanut butter cups on top. I ended up making it into a no bake peanut butter cake, to save room in the freezer. Soooo good!

Savory Sausage and Rice Skillet

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
A good weekday dinner, once you have the vegetables ready to go. I had kielbasa, so I used that and switched the thyme out for paprika. That was awfully tasty, too.

Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
A great sauce to tinker around with. As did others, I added garlic and used half&half instead of light cream. It tasted the best with mashed potatoes; a forkful with pork, potatoes, and the sauce was excellent!

Seared Tuna with Wasabi-Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
This is sooooo good! Lots of strong flavor, but it does mellow out as you cook the sauce. I may end up using the sauce on other things, not just tuna. Try this, you'll be satisfied!

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
Very tasty recipe. Lemon and garlic are two of my favorite tastes in the world. With such simple ingredients, all the flavors really shine in this.

Dinah's Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
Very easy to put together. I think my oven temperature was off, because they didn't get as browned as I'd hoped. Still tasty, though.

These were super-tasty and easy. I did as others suggested and used lemon cake mix for the yellow. It was a great combination!

Cheesy Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
I used the ingredients as listed here, but baked them, covered, in a casserole dish, as suggested on the Campbell's soup can. The rice and veggies were thick, creamy, and tasty, but the chicken was a bit dry. Next time I might try cubing the chicken and mixing into the casserole, rather than leaving them on top.

Bloody Mary Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
Very easy recipe. The Bloody Mary marinade suited the salmon nicely. However, I did agree with a previous reviewer that there almost wasn't enough Bloody Mary taste. I marinated overnight, so I'm pretty sure that wasn't the problem. I'll make these again, and maybe spoon a little more mixture on top before broiling.

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
So good and easy! I did double the milk and butter, because I like mashed potatoes that are moist and creamy. I also substituted garlic salt for regular salt. My husband loved these! Will definitely be making again!

Skillet Ham and Rice

This was a nice, quick recipe. I doubled it and used all chicken broth, instead of chicken broth and water. My husband especially enjoyed this meal.

Guacamole Chicken Melt

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
I really enjoyed this recipe. It was quick and easy, and the chicken looked fantastic when it was done. I added a shot of chipotle Tabasco sauce to each chicken breast before spooning the guacamole on.

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
Mmmm! I really enjoyed this. It was the first meal I cooked with all the kitchen goodies I got for my wedding, and I made it again yesterday. I used half&half, since the Trader Joe's near me didn't have heavy cream. I also upped the garlic and parmesan cheese, and added minced onion (sauteed with the garlic and chicken) and diced tomatoes, for color. Tasty! Thanks!

Raisin Lemon Cookies

Very tasty, light, flavorful combination of tart/sweet. I used dried cranberries instead of raisins, as another reviewer suggested, and I loved it. Thanks!
