On Wisconsin Beer Brats

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
These are incredible. You definitely should brown them on the grill or a skillet (only for about 5-10 minutes) before throwing them in the bath. My Super Bowl party dug into mine after about six hours in the bath and everyone raved. There were even some gals who didn't think they'd enjoy bratwurst who went back for seconds!

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
Five star if you do this: boil and shred the chicken. Mix sour cream, 4 oz. can diced jalapenos, 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, and chicken for the filling. Sprinkle the top with fresh cilantro. I didn't char the tortillas, just cut them in fourths. Spicy and delicious!!

Cashew Chicken with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
Really good. Next time I'm going to add a lot more hot sauce and a little less corn starch. It was a little too thick and not hot enough. Overall though, really good.

Awesome Spicy Beef Kabobs OR Haitian Voodoo Sticks

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
We've been making these for over a year now, and just got around to reviewing. They are killer! We make them at least once a month during grill season. Don't change anything. The longer you marinate, the spicier they get. Overnight, and they are hot. Don't serve to anybody scared of spicy food. Who wants to hang out with them anyway?

White Almond Wedding Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
This was my first time baking a cake. Made it for my wife's birthday and everyone loved it. I'm a big hero. I'm not much of a cake guy, and even I was having seconds.

Eastern North Carolina BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
Really good. Just like most places in NC. If you mix just a spoonful of commercial BBQ sauce into this, and add to pulled pork...delicious!

Tex-Mex Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
Really good. Very hearty. I had a ton of leftover turkey and couldn't eat anymore sandwiches. This was perfect. I didn't have cumin and it still turned out great. I added a little cayanne for extra heat, and did increase the other spices like a lot of other reviewers. A great way to not let the leftovers go to waste!

Easy Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
Very good! A big hit. It makes a TON. I had seven adults and it was way more than needed. A delicious recipe though. The cream of chicken soup is a really nice touch and I made my own turkey stock with neck/giblets. Awesome!

Best turkey ever! Seriously, this turned out so good. I brined for two days, then smoked in the Traeger for six hours. People were saying it was the best turkey they'd ever eaten!

Detroit Hot Honey Wings

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
Very good! Had a cookout and these were gone quick. Recipe is simple and easy, but really delicious. Go heavy on the cayenne at first if you like the spicy taste to linger.

Delicious! Like lots of others, I did half butter/half olive oil. Make sure and add more garlic, more clams. Really, really good.

Delicious. I love to eat fish, but prefer dishes that aren't overly fishy. This was perfect. The flavors complement the fish very well. I'll be making this again.

Grilled Tri-Tip with Oregon Herb Rub

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
This was great. The rub is delicious. I smoked it about 3 1/2 hours. I'm going to cut that down to 3 hours next time. Meat came out medium, but was still very moist.
