Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
This recipe was wonderful! I made it tonight for guests and everyone loved them. I omitted the hot sauce (didn't have any) and didn't use garlic salt, just garlic powder, but other than that, left the ingredients the same. I made breadcrumbs from scratch out of wheat bread. I made the meatballs a bit smaller, coming out with a batch of about 18-20 from a pound. I baked for 17 minutes and then finished by cooking them in a homemade sauce. I really like that this recipe doesn't use egg (BF has an allergy) and makes delicious meatballs that hold together!I would definitely make these again.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This was amazing. mac and cheese heaven. The only change that I made to the recipe was to use macaroni instead of penne and didn't use any onion or spices. The basic recipe, however was sooooo good. The only thing I would change next time would be to use just a little less bacon. Thanks for the great recipe!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
The only change I made was adding fresh garlic. I was shocked at how much of a difference the cream cheese made, it was soooo creamy and flavorful. I really enjoyed it, thank you for the recipe!

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
The meatballs are fantastic! The only thing I did differently was brown the meatballs just a bit in a pan before slow cooking so they wouldn't fall apart. I added some onion to the sauce and more spices but it was very good. thank you for the recipe!

This was really great! I followed the recipe with the exception of adding some snow peas to the dish. I thought it was very tasty and even better as left overs! Thanks for the great recipe!

Slow-Cooked Short Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
This was really delicious. The only thing I changed in the sauce was I used apple cider vinegar, not the red wine because that's what I had. I also just added the short ribs frozen, I didn't bother to flour them or anything and they turned out great, they were falling apart. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Amy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
mmmmmmmmmm These were so good. I used chocolate pudding mix and the cookies were awesome, soft on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside and just good all around, although a little heavy. I would make these again for sure.

Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This was soooo good and so easy! I always thought it would be a big to do to make a soup but this was just great! It had great flavor and I didn't change anything about the recipes except I drained most about half of the liquid out of the beans and used regular white beans because that's all my store had. Great recipe, thank you!

Delicious and Easy Mock Risotto

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
This recipe was so good and so easy! I did add broccoli to it at the beginning with the onions and garlic and added cream and parm in the last 2 minutes of cooking but it was just so good! A very good substitute for a risotto if you don't have the time to make it.

Braised Chicken Breasts in Tasty Mirepoix Ragout

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
This was soo good! It does take a long time to cook, but it is so worth it. I didn't add any salt to the dish and used low sodium chicken broth as other reviewers said and it had the perfect amount of flavor. My sauce did get thick on its own, no need for thickeners. The flavor was great and the dish was easy, though time consuming. I will definitely make this again, I served it over mashed potatoes and everyone enjoyed it. PS Do not try to make this in the slow cooker... not the same.

Roasted Garlic Bread

This was so good! I followed the directions exactly and it was just great. I made 2 big loaves of bread for a party and it was a big hit. I did use Mozz cheese instead of the parm on top, and it was just very yummy.
