Honey Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
This recipe was good, but maybe not what I expected. I used a few extra seasonings on it like a little chili powder but mainly followed the recipe exactly. The end results just weren't as sweet as I thought it would be. At first I thought I didn't like it but then after eating more I realized that it was really good and I keep thinking about it! the chicken is very moist which is really nice and the flavors are subtle but I think next time I may use more chili powder or cayenne or something to play up the sweet and spicy aspect. Overall it was really good.

Amy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
mmmmmmmmmm These were so good. I used chocolate pudding mix and the cookies were awesome, soft on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside and just good all around, although a little heavy. I would make these again for sure.

This was so great and so easy to make! I added a little water and an extra small can of tomato sauce to give it a little extra sauce and it was delicious! Thank you so much!

I followed the directions exactly but I just didn't think it had that much flavor. It was okay, but nothing great.

Pesto Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
This was an alright recipe, I followed other people's advice and made more sauce than the recipe calls for but it still was just ok. It was very easy, however, so that was a plus. Thank you

This was really great! I followed the recipe with the exception of adding some snow peas to the dish. I thought it was very tasty and even better as left overs! Thanks for the great recipe!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

I thought this was alright but not as good as other dips I have tried. I thought it was a little too cream cheese -y. Anyway, it was pretty good anyway thank you!

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
The meatballs are fantastic! The only thing I did differently was brown the meatballs just a bit in a pan before slow cooking so they wouldn't fall apart. I added some onion to the sauce and more spices but it was very good. thank you for the recipe!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
The only change I made was adding fresh garlic. I was shocked at how much of a difference the cream cheese made, it was soooo creamy and flavorful. I really enjoyed it, thank you for the recipe!

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
I thought this was very good, my only problem with it was it wasn't very creamy. I added some fresh garlic to it as well, and the taste was very good, I just wish that it was a bit more creamy.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This was amazing. mac and cheese heaven. The only change that I made to the recipe was to use macaroni instead of penne and didn't use any onion or spices. The basic recipe, however was sooooo good. The only thing I would change next time would be to use just a little less bacon. Thanks for the great recipe!

Sauce Rosee

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This sauce was pretty good, but not fantastic. I felt like despite the amount of spices in the dish it was still somewhat bland. I followed the recipe exactly except that I let it cook a little longer to thicken the sauce up a bit. I thought it was good, but not something I would make on a regular basis.

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This recipe was great, I really enjoyed it and so did my bf. I made some changes from the suggestions of others and some of my own. I did not use chili sauce, I used an extra thing of salsa (pace picante) and chili powder. I used diced tomatoes with the chilis in them. I sauteed onions and garlic a bit and then added a can of hot jalapenos when cooking my beef along with some salt and pepper and chili powder to give the meat its own flavor from the beginning. I took others advice and added about an extra 1/4 cup of water and did not lift up the lid on the pan for the entire 30 minutes and the rice was cooked perfectly. I also only used one pan, i cooked the beef and then added everything in and omitted the baking, just mixed the cilantro and cheese in at the end. Anyway, It was very flavorful and easy to make. Great recipe!

Rosemary Chicken with Orange-Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
This recipe was very good, however there were some changes that I think would have made it better. I think if the chicken was pounded thin or sliced thin the flavors from the rosemary and the glaze would be more consistent through the chicken. Other than that the glaze was very tasty and worked very well with the rosemary. I followed the recipe exactly and had relatively good results. Thank you!

Southwest Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
I thought this recipe was alright but had a bit too many beans in it. I thought it kind of diluted the other flavors. Overall it was alright, I may try it again sometime and modify it.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
I thought this turned out nicely, I followed other reviewers' advice and did not flour the chicken. I thought the sauce was really good but the chicken did not have a ton of flavor itself. I think next time I'll put more seasoning on the chicken and maybe pound it thinner so it can absorb more sauce. Overall this was very easy and a god recipe. Thank you!

Baked Pears

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
This was an alright recipe but I think it would be helped by slicing the pears thin so that the flavor could get further into the pear. I made the recipe as written and the flavor was good on the surface of the pear halves but lacked down in the part near the skin. It was a good starter recipe though, so thank you!
