Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
This was awesome!! I added 1/3 c sunflower seeds and slightly more onion. However, I used 1/2 low-fat mayo and 1/2 non-fat Greek yogurt and cut the bacon to make it a bit more healthy. Also omitted the salt and pepper, but added some tarragon and thyme instead. FABULOUS!!!

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

taste was good, but they just didn't turn out well - flat, gooey in the center, brown on the edges. my daughter described it as a "tasty mess." won't make this one again.

Becky's Chicken Salad

Great recipe, but of course I modified it for my own tastes! LOL! I used about 2/3 c mayo instead of the full cup, added red onion and swapped out the almonds for pine nuts. This is my new fave!

Chili I

Wow!! Great, but I changed a couple of things: used more meat, less beans, 2T instant coffe granules instead of cup coffee, and added bacon and fresh chopped bell and hot peppers. This is the first "hot" dish I've ever made where my hubby didn't feel the urge to add tobasco sauce!

Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2001
Hi all! Thanks for trying my recipe. Just a few things that the "recipe' people changed from my original recipe: 1) I always use butter not margarine, 2) I always use roasted garlic flavored chicken broth so if you use regular chicken broth try adding a few cloves of minced garlic, and 3) recently I've substituted 1/4 cup of the liquids with 1/4 cup sherry cooking wine. Of all the recipes I've created, this one is by far my favorite! Take care!
