Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

This recipe was terrific! I come from a long line of fried chicken traditionalist, and this hit a home run with my family. I doubled the spices as another user suggested and used my cast iron skillet. A++++++++

Double Chocolate Pie

This filing was terrific and easy to make. I used the basic pie crust recipe from this site in addition to a whipped cream recipe from this site. It was just like those wonderful pies that you get at a church gathering or a terrific old time diner. Very Good

Whipped Cream

This was a great recipe. I upped the confectioners sugar to at least 3 tablespoons and whipped longer until it was the consistency closer to butter so I could pipe it through a decorative tip onto the top of a pie. I actually noticed it tasted even better the next day after refrigeration.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

This is AWESOME! So moist. My husband requests this often in the winter. It is great with a little chocolate drizzled on the top or I've also sprinked powered cocoa and used raspberries to dress it up. Excellent

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

This was my first time making crust from scratch and it was amazingly easy. This turned out wonderfully. Great taste!! You would have thought I'd been making pie crusts my whole life. Highly recommend.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This was terrific soup. I cut back on the salt as some of the other reviews suggested and it was perfect. My Husband actually asked me to make it again the next day. Thanks for the great recipe.

Beef Tips and Noodles

This recipe is great for a week night. I make with a few changes. I use stew meat and season it. Also I double all the ingredients for the sauce. That way there is enough to go around. Also, I really watch the cooking time. If you cook it to long the meat will be very chewy. One hour is way to long for me.

Classic Goulash

Baby Back Ribs

The method behind this is excellent. If you are new to making ribs try this first to build your confidence. Then move on to putting a dry rub on your ribs and refrigerating overnight before cooking. There are several great dry rub recipes on this site. Also this recipe doesn't address removing the membrane. If you want your ribs to really absorb a rub or sauce you must do this.
