Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This was so easy and so delicious. My husband hates fish but this time he loved it! Next time I will double the sauce so that I can put it on the rice and veggies that I made as a side.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
I made this recipe as written and it turned out great. My local store was out of chili beans in spicy sauce, so I just used regular chili beans...so the chili just didn't get as spicy. I made it the night before on the stove top and then transferred to a crock pot to simmer the next day. This chili has a great consistency and the flavors are wonderful!

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
I sauteed the chicken in garlic, olive oil, and a touch of red pepper. I put that to the side and sauteed the onion, celery, and remaining garlic until soft. Then I added everything else according to the original recipe. The peanut butter was weird, but it ended up tasting really good! I will make this again because it is a really healthy, hearty, and tasty soup!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
I used 2 fresh jalapenos and 4 oz of jalapenos from the jar, then topped it off with parmesan and breadcrumbs. (Pairs best with toasted French/Italian bread!)

Blue Cheese, Bacon and Chive Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
Mu husband loves these! I use blue cheese or gorgonzola...whichever I have on hand. Sometimes I use chicken stock and white wine in the pan after the pork is done to make a little sauce to go on top.

Spinach Manicotti

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
I love salsa but I really couldn't get past the taste of it in this dish. It was really good but strange. The cheese mixture was delicious and stuffing the uncooked shells was a breeze. I think next time I will omit the salsa or try a different kind. I would be interested to hear what brand and type of salsa people use in this dish.

Slow Cooker Chicken Creole

This was OK. The chicken was tender but I think it smelled better than it really was. The leftovers were good.

Double Chocolate Mocha Trifle

Great dessert! Use 3 packages white chocolate pudding and 3 cups cold milk. Also, add an extra couple of teaspoons of coffee granules. You might need to add more whipped topping too. I used the brownies with chocolate chips in them and everyone loved loved loved this!
