Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
Amazing!!! I used 2 extra cups of broth because the soup seemed too thick.

Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2012
Delicious! The only thing I would add to the recipe is the instructions on how to layer the lady fingers. For a novice such as myself, I had no idea what to do and whether I had to separate them. Will make again!

Red Lentil Curry

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2012
Amazing flavor, but felt a little dry. I might add a little more tomato puree next time.

Black Bean and Couscous Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2012
Wow, wow, wow... This salad is delicious! It actually tastes even better two days later! It did feel a tad dry on day one, but seems like everything blended together quite nicely as it sat in the fridge. I will probably make more dressing next time, otherwise the recipe is amazing.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
These tasted great. My only issue is that there is a pocket of air in every burger. When you try to squeeze it down, a lot of juices escape.

Gluten Free Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
Excellent! I skipped the sugar and only used 2 tbsp of maple syrup. I only had 5 bananas. The bread was sweet (but not overly sweet) and moist. My mother couldn't even tell that it was gluten-free and my children both loved it.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
Truly the best dressing ever. This has become a staple in our household. I even use it as a marinade for chicken shish-kabob!

German Red Cabbage

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
If I only had all the ingredients, I would have probably rated this SIX stars. I had a head of red cabbage sitting in the fridge that I bought for something else, but was too lazy to make it. I'm not a fan of cabbage and especially not a fan of sweeter-type dishes. But WOW.. I didn't think this would ever taste this great. I didn't have cloves and allspice, but the recipe turned out phenomenal. Thank you!

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
This really is phenomenal. I made this for my husband's Thanksgiving pot luck lunch at work. The only downside is that it is very sweet, so there were a lot of leftovers (which I was able to freeze and reuse later).

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
This tasted great! A lot better than the store-bought kind that has a ton of sodium. I took one star off because it was just too sticky. I think I might wash the rice before cooking it next time.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Very quick and easy! I made it several times for different audiences. Each was a success. As someone mentioned, this is a very forgiving recipe. The last time I made it, I forgot the milk, but nobody noticed the difference.

Linguine with Chicken and Sauteed Vegetables

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Wow-wheeee.. Amazing! I used whole wheat pasta and skipped the chicken. I made a whole pound and it was gone in one sitting. The garlic olive oil really did the trick. And the kitchen smelled heavenly!

Stuffed Peppers

Yummy! I was shocked how quickly the kids gobbled them up! They usually do not touch bell peppers. Thanks for the recipe!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
This was good, but I am still trying to figure out what I could have done to thicken up the liquid. It just tasted a bit watery. As another reviewer stated, I would substitute a store-bought or home-roasted chicken for canned.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
I was really looking forward to trying this, but for some reason it didn't work out as anticipated. I love artichokes and I love mayo, but the artichokes had a funky texture and the taste of mayo was too overpowering.

Chili I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Great chili! I am not sure if I'll be making again because it didn't taste like a traditional chili recipe, which is what my entire family loves. I followed the recipe exactly, but felt it was a bit on the sweet side and we all could taste the beer, which just didn't work.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
I am a big fan of salmon, but sorry, this just didn't do it for me. It could be that I am not a fan of sweet flavors in fish. But I also felt that there was a distinct flavor of both maple and soy when I was eating it. I was hoping the flavors would "blend" together better. I only kept it marinating for 20 minutes.
