Fish Tacos

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
This was absolutely fantastic! I added some season salt to leftover batter and made onion rings to go with the tacos... yummy! I used tomato and lettuce instead of cabbage, and it was yummy too :) Thanks for such an easy and delicious recipe!!

The fresh lemon squeezed over the pork chops was definitely the key to a delicious dish. Thank you for sharing!

Grilled Chicken Salad with Seasonal Fruit

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2009
I used fresh strawberries, then added a few to the dressing mixture. It was delicious! Canned chicken would probably be better than grilled. Will try it next time. :]

Lemon Rosemary Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
This was easy and delicious! I only used sliced lemon on the top (subbed lemon juice on the bottom), and used dried rosemary instead of fresh. I added garlic powder to the top as well. Fantastic!

Turkey Macaroni Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
This was fantastic! I used two boxes of mac-n-cheese, boiled the noodles until done, added cream of chicken soup, 1-2 cups of milk, salt, pepper, one of the mac-n-cheese cheese packets, leftover turkey, broccoli, and colby jack cheese shredded over the top. Baked for about 20 minutes at 350. My 8 yr old daughter had 4 helpings!!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
This recipe is absolutely phenomenal! The entire family (including 3 kids) loved it! I doubled the recipe, and never measure spices (just threw in what I thought would be delicious, so probably about twice the garlic recommended)... it was fall-apart, melt-in-your-mouth delicious!!! Thank you!!

Crab and Shrimp Delight

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
I altered this recipe a bit. I reduced the mayo to 3/4 cup, increased the milk to 1 1/2 cups, added 1 cup of water, garlic powder, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Substituted the angel hair for the multi-colored spiral noodles, substituted cream of shrimp for cream of mushroom. Instead of sharp cheddar I used 6 oz of colby-jack and 6 oz of mozzarella. FABULOUS!!!

Picadillo

Reviewed: May 19, 2007
After reading other's reviews, I halfed chili powder, cayenne, and paprika to make it less spicy. I also added Idaho potatoes, and omitted the olives. This dish was delicious! My husband is Cuban and grew up with Picadillo and he LOVED it!! I made homemade fried plantains and white rice on the side. Delicious!! Thank you!

Jungle Juice for a Crowd

Used this recipe for my big Dirty 30 Birthday party... it was fantastically delicious! Made it almost to the recipe-only change was that instead of everclear (Idaho does not sell it! bummer!) I used Bicardi 151. It did the trick :)

Scallop Stir-Fry

Reviewed: May 22, 2007
I have to agree that it was missing something... but I think that something would be snow peas! More veggies would definately be a plus. I will use water chestnuts next time as well. The sauce was amazing, and it was a perfect blend of curry and ginger, most definately. Will be making this quick and delicious meal many times in the future!
