Best Black Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
This is an easy, delicious, healthy and cheap side dish! I followed KitchenDiva's modifications (rinse beans, saute onion and garlic first and add a can of chicken broth) and added a big squeeze of lime before serving.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
This one will go into heavy rotation at our house. So easy and delicious! I threw in a thawed bag of peppers and onions and think it compromised the taste a bit. Won't do that again.

Roasted Cauliflower Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
Very yummy! I wish I hadn't pureed a portion of the soup because it was better chunky. It was very difficult not to gobble up the freshly roasted and somewhat caramelized cauliflower. So good! I'll definitely be making that part again and again as a side dish.

Yum yum! I used one package of dried beef and four frozen chicken breasts and otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It was easy, delicious and even my picky tween loved it. Keeper!

This was delicious and super easy! I doubled the sauce and used raw shrimp, cooking them with the onions and garlic.

Fluffy Pancakes

Thank you to the reviewer who said to resist stirring the batter after the bubbles form. The pancakes were super fluffy and delicious. A double batch made about 15 pancakes.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
This is the easiest.dessert.ever! I usually use Nellie & Joe's key lime juice, but have juiced regular limes (and even RealLime in a pinch) and it still works. You can go without the zest, but it looks and tastes great. Yum!

So delicious! Made as written except the substitution of apple sauce for some of the oil. Thanks to other reviewers for the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe - I'll make this again and again.

These were very yummy, but greasy. Next time, I will use shrimp and less butter.

Grandma's Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
This tastes like what Rice-A-Roni wants to be when it grows up. Next time I'll cut down on the butter and add a little less liquid. It was a bit wet for our tastes, but delicious.

I used an 8oz can of special crab meat, a 4oz sleeve of Townhouse crackers, 2T mayo and everything else as written to make the perfect crab cakes. The search is over!

This was great! 15 people went through the entire huge batch on Christmas Eve. I used Raspberry and Peach jello and only 2 bottles of ginger ale.

Indoor S'mores

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
Maybe it's all the real s'mores I've been eating this summer, but I thought these were a real disappointment. The choco/mallow mixture turned into a bland and greasy taffy. It would have been much better to leave some chocolate chips and marshmallows to mix in at the last minute.
