Love to cook!
About this Cook
I've cooked since I was tall enough to reach the dials for the oven. Mom taught my brothers and I everything we know. If I can find a basic recipe I can make it better and make it my own. Love every type of cooking and seeing peoples faces when they love how my recipes come out.
My favorite things to cook
Love, love, love baking. Making brownies and cookies as I write this. But really I love trying all types of new recipes. Quick dinners, Italian food, soups and stews, breads, you name it, I love trying to make everything and anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday the traditions are more than I can write here, but just to name a few, lasagna, meatballs, deviled eggs, scones, Irish bread, baked beans, sausage stuffing, baked apple pancakes, the list goes on and on.
My cooking triumphs
Four time blue ribbon at the Annual Blueberry Festival in Machias, ME. I've passed on the magic touch to my daughter who is a two time blue ribbon winner. There was nothing quite like the feeling the first time I won.
My cooking tragedies
As a teenager I was making Chicken Catsatori and didn't realize the chicken I was using was still partially frozen in the middle. When I placed it in the pan of hot olive oil it sizzled and the whole pan caught fire climbing about 4 ft. high. Nearly burned down my boyfriends parents house, never made that recipe again :( Live and learn.

If you're like me you are always multitasking. This recipe takes 5 minutes to prepare. One pan easy clean up and so good!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II
These are so delicious and so easy to make. I usually make them with my mac&cheese recipe or to go with soup. Everyone who has tried them LOVED them!!!!

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning
This was pretty good, I usually change recipes almost everytime I make them so I always love looking for new ways of making old standbys!
