Orzo Delicioso

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
Very good! My husband loves his with a little extra hot sauce on it. I didn't have any jalapeno's, so I omitted those and put the hot sauce in when I put the onion & peppers in. The white wine adds just enough flavor. Overall, we really like it and think we may try it with brown rice next time.

Too much seasoning! You could cut the seasoning in half and it might work.

Awesome! My husband, picky 3 year old, and 1 year old loved this! Used white whine instead of red and it was still great!

Creamy Sausage Dip

I didn't have green onions (so I cooked some diced white onion w/sausage) and this was still great!

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Perfect! Easy to make! Only substituion - 1/2 cup applesauce and 1/2 cup oil, instead of the 1 cup of oil. I also only baked mine 50 minutes.

Delicious! So simple. I just used stove top stuffing (made according to package directions) and butterflied a pork loin. It was perfect!

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
Great recipe! There are a ton of variations you can make. I used whole wheat pasta, added chopped cucumbers, and added some avocado cubes to the top right before serving. My husband loved it. My 2 year old ate enough of it for me to know it was decent. I think you could easily add some cubed chicken to this to make it even heartier. Great overall!

Baked Potato Soup

Just a good all-around potato soup. Nothing extra special or unique, but it's delicious all the same! My family enjoyed this recipe and I will make it again.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
Great recipe! I used less chicken broth (because I didn't have enough) and substituted water. I also used milk instead of heavy cream, and kale instead of spinach. Everyone had seconds, so it was good!

Absolutely delicious! My picky 1 year old even ate it! My husband (who isn't a big chicken fan anyway) raved about it! I will make it again and again!

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Great recipe! My 1 year old would not quit eating this! My husband and I actually both wanted the leftovers - great, great recipe! The only change I made, was only using one can of cream of mushroom soup.

Simple Baked Apples

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
Very good, but I kept getting the feeling that these were missing something when I ate them. Couldn't quite put my finger on it though. I did bake them a little longer than the recipe called for, which was fine. I also didn't peel my apples, but I will next time. The peels got pretty soft, but there were still too chewy for my taste. Thanks again for the recipe!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
Smelled delicious, breading was delicious, but the meat wasn't nearly as juicy as I expected. I did take the foil off at the end to brown them, so maybe I should have left the foil on longer or something. I will try again!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
Delicious!!! I added a little more cheese than the recipe called for and only one egg. I also used fat free half and half. It was still great, but I think next time I might try the recipe exactly as is and see if it turns out even better.

Holland House® Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
My husband and I really liked this one! We ommitted the capers (my husband hates them) and changed the sauce around a little. I added 2 cups of chicken broth, instead of one and added a little cornstarch to thicken it. It was delicious!
