My favorite family cooking traditions
I love baking cookies durring the holiday season. I remember spending hours in the kitchen making and decorating cookies with my sisters, mom, and grandmother.
My cooking tragedies
I've tried creating some cup cakes using different types of filling, but it really didnt work out as well as i had hoped.

delicious! My boyfriend and I loved the recipe. Roughly chopping and slicing only took about 10-15 min. I did follow a few suggestions though, while I was layering in the rest of the ingredients I let the onions saute and caramelize a little before adding it in. I also chopped up some kalmata olives and put it on half (i hate olives but my boyfriend LOVES them) the olives gave the 'sauce' a nice tangy bite. I served it over white rice and black beans for added protein. It was instantly a hit and I will make it again and again.

Mock Tuna Salad
Wonderful! We add some lemmon juice to give it a little something extra. It really does taste like tuna salad too!

Aunt Mary's Eggplant Balls
These are awesome! I make them in balls for spaghetti and "meatball" dinner and I use this recipie to make burgers, add typical hamburger topping and enjoy! To make forming the balls/patties easier I mash the cooked eggplant. This recipe is a staple for me and my boyfriend especially since they freeze and reheat well!
