Sugar Coated Pecans

Fantastic, yummy, super easy! But I only gave 4 stars because it needs double the amount of cinnamon, at least. I also used my Kitchenaid, and it only took about 5 minutes to prepare this. The results are delicious!

Pumpkin Soup

This was bland and had a weird texture. Maybe it was because I used baked and mashed pumpkin instead of fresh, but no one liked this soup.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Very yummy, and extremely easy. My teenagers loved it. I had boxed mashed potatoes, so I used those, and added canned corn. I chopped the carrots and put them on top of the meat, but didn't bother with mashing. I baked it in a cast iron deep-dish skillet, so I had less pans to wash and it baked a little quicker. I'll definitely make this again.

Best Pennsylvania Dutch Chicken Corn Soup

My 11-year old declared this "the best chicken soup you've ever made, mom!" We all loved it, but next time I'll make more dumplings, as everyone was picking through the pot to get more.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

This is such an easy, quick recipe! I've made them twice now, and both times they came out perfect. Even the kids like them, and the gravy is great on mashed potatoes. The only thing I changed was to use garlic salt and onion powder when I season the chops.

Beth's Scalloped Cabbage

We thought this was so-so. My family said it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be, but it was very bland. I found myself shaking a lot of salt on, and I'm not usually one to add salt to my food at the table. I had a lot of leftovers, and I doubt it will get eaten.
