Mike's Homemade Pizza

Reviewed: May 12, 2013
This is the best pizza recipe I've ever made! This is a keeper! The only difference was that I added some sugar to the yeast because I was having a hard time getting it to proof. Oh, and I had almost all the herbs fresh. I didn't add the cumin... I may someday, but I wasn't brave enough today.

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
I didn't have red pepper, so I used green, but other than that, I made this exactly as written. It was amazing! I wish you could have seen my 5 yr old's eyes brighten up when he put the chicken in his mouth. This recipe is a keeper, and we'll make it again and again. I made "Squash and Pepper Skillet" from this site as a side dish. Thank you!!

Squash and Pepper Skillet

Super fast, easy, and yummy. You could switch out veggies and this would still be great. This recipe allows the veggies to stay true to their natural flavors. Thank you!

Colorful Grilled Veggies

Reviewed: May 12, 2012
Although the dressing tasted good, it was so overpowering that ALL my veggies just tasted like the dressing! It's a bit unsettling when you bite into a green pepper and it doesn't taste anything like a green pepper. The dressing should compliment the food, not drown out the original flavor completely!

BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
Amazing! I had two guests literally take this dish from the table to eat it in their laps. It was the first dish to be finished. I put out frito scoops and tortilla chips, and everyone liked the scoops the best. I used the Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce, as another reviewer suggested, from this site. I will be making this again! Thank you!!

Chicken Potato Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
This was absolutely delicious! I wish I would have made more because we all wanted more! I made with boneless chicken breast and russet potatoes, and the Creamy Italian Dressing I from this site. I cooked it 30 minutes covered (until the potatoes were done) and then the additional 20. Thank you. I will be making this again.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
Really great! I only used the brown sugar, but followed the rest of the recipe as written. The chips, especially, were a huge hit! So glad I doubled them, everyone DEVOURED them! Thanks so much :D

Deborah's Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
This was super yummy! I seasoned the chicken with fresh minced garlic, salt, and pepper before grilling. I added less basil. It turned out fabulous! Thank you! Will be making again this week :D

Foil Wrapped Veggies

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
This was delicious and easy! I used a potato, white onion, green beans, salt, pepper, thyme, and basil (I didn't come back to read the ingredients!) and it turned out lovely! I only drizzled some olive oil and tossed the ingredients together. Thank you for this easy and versatile recipe! I might add carrots next time :D

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
A+ on quickness, but it tasted like bread doe, not crust. It was edible, but we will not be making again. Thanks!

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
This didn't work for us. I made it for a party, exactly as written, and although it was tried by some, it was not eaten. We found the apple to have a very strange texture in this. I actually liked the curry dressing before it was added to the chicken. Will not be making again. Thanks all the same!

Citrus Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
I haven't used this with turkey, but several times with a chicken! I let my chicken sit once for a half hour after cooking, and it still literally gushed with juices when I carved it! One thing to remember is that when you use a brine, you need to make sure you thoroughly wash your bird off afterwards or it will come out dry and salty. Thanks so much!!

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
My husband and I truly enjoyed this. I confess, I did make some small changes. I used the Citrus Turkey Brine from this site overnight. I cooked it on a rack for about a half hour, then poured in some chicken broth, and basted it every once in awhile. I also stuffed the cavity with a quartered lemon. Thank you for this lovely recipe!

Classic Stuffed Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
This rating is for the stuffing; I did not make this turkey. OMG! This was definitely the best thing on the table and I got numerous compliments. I've never liked stuffing, and I've been craving this ever since! The only change I made was using homemade bread cubes out of french bread from this site (French Bread Rolls to Die For). Oh, and since I was cooking this separately from the bird, I squirted some of the drippings into the dish as well. Thanks so much!

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
OMG! This is so good. AMAZING gravy! The gravy really makes the meal. I put the gravy right over the chicken and mashed potatoes. *WOW* Thanks so much! I used chicken breasts. After the chicken browned, I threw it in the oven at 350* for 30 minutes instead of cooking in the oil. I was afraid my chicken would burn, and I didn't have enough room in my skillet for all of the chicken. Even my picky little ones were pleased with this, although they wouldn't touch the gravy, but that's just them being picky ;P

Becca's Chicken-Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
This was really great! Both my kids ate it! I added some pepper and chili powder to the flour mixture. I put both the dry combination's in large baggies and shook them, instead of using bowls. I could only fit three pork chops in my iron skillet, so I only put in 1 cup of oil. For those of you who had problems, if the oil is too hot, the outside of the pork will cook faster than the inside. If the breading of falling off, that probably means you don't have enough oil. When you're frying, you can't skimp on the oil! Thank you for posting this. We had a lovely dinner tonight!

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
Thank you! This is really great! My super picky daughter, seriously, I don't know how she survives with how little she will eat, told me to put this on our list to make for the future! I withheld the green pepper and substituted regular pepperoni for the pepperoni sausage. I used pizza sauce from this site, Easy Pizza Sauce III. Someone said this freezes well. I'm going to give that a shot. Thanks again!
