Mashed Sweet Potatoes by Jean Carper

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2007
Very sweet. Loved the idea of using the microwave to cook the potatoes. It saved so much time in the preparation.

Sunflower Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
I made this for lunch one day and my children only picked out the grapes and ate that. My husband ate it but said the grapes just didn't go. Won't be making this again.

Spinach, Potato, and Nutmeg Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
This tasted more like baby food. I tried to give it to my kids and only one would eat a little of it. This is something I will not make again. Sorry.

Homemade Chicken Soup

This was very good. I did make a lot of it so I wound up freezing some of it. I made rice to go with it. Definately will make again.

Eggplant con Queso

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2008
I thought it was really good. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because my husband felt it was a bit soggy. He said I should have used real bread crumbs rather then toasted bread. I did have a very good taste though. Will make it again.

This was very good, however, very salty. Next time I will use low sodium soy sauce. My husband liked it.

Honey Berry Milk Shakes

Wow I really don't like strawberry shakes but just adding that honey really makes it sweet and yummy. This will certainly be something I will make again. Thanks.

Cinnamon Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
I brought this over to my in-laws. When we cut into it, it was extremely watery. I'm the only one who actually ate it and thought it was okay taste wise. But because of what it looked like no one else wanted to eat it. I will not make this again.

Chinese Chicken Salad II

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
The dressing was really sweet and yummy. I didn't put the dressing on the salad but served it on the side since most of my family members likes to put their own dressing on. I didn't have any water chestnuts and onions so I left them out. It was very quick to put together. I will definately make this again.

Quick Pizza Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
This recipe was okay nothing to really rave about. I wanted to use up the crescent rolls that I had and so for lunch I made this. Out of the 3 kids I have only one ate it. So probably won't make it again unless I'm in a rush for a fast lunch.

Spinach and Potato Frittata

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
I shredded my potatoes for this recipe and it makes a lot so there was a lot leftover. I tell you this was better the next day. My husband thought it was a bit dry so he ate it with ketchup.

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

I didn't have enough oil to coat the entire chicken so I fried one side and then flipped and fried the other side. It came out really crispy. It will be a recipe I will use again.

Lynda's Zucchini

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2006
I added garlic powder like someone else suggested. I tried feeding this to my triplets but they didn't like it. However, I ate their left overs and it was really good. I definately will be making this again. I don't think it will serve 30+ people though as there was only a little left over with the 4 of us eating it.
