Barbeque Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I don't like fish but I love this recipe. I double the marinade and let talapia rest in it for 2 hours. This recipe will make anyone look really good.

Tabbouleh III

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I used to make this basic recipe when I was in college and I've been looking for it ever since. I cut back the olive oil to 1/4 or 1/3 cup, otherwise this recipe is just awesome. Use fresh lemons and let this salad set for 24 hours. Be sure to mix before serving.

Angel Chicken Pasta

I'm not a big fan of mushrooms but it seems everyone else is, so the 5 rating. Know that golden mushroom soup is completly different from cream of mushroom soup. In addition to doubling the soup, I cut the chicken into cubes, coated them in flower and cooked them in olive oil, rather than baking it.

Coconut Cream Pie I

Even a man like me can look good with this recipe. Toasting the coconut is required. So simple, so good.

Sue's Taco Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I keep the meat, salad, dressing and chips seperate until meal time. I also add a can of sliced black olives. Some prefer to top the salad with salsa and just crush the chips on top.

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I had serious doubts about this recipe but for how easy it is to prepare it is absolutely amazing. I added 2 cans of diced tomatoes with chiles to the soup mix and I made the rice separately using 2 cups of the chicken broth. I then served the soup over the rice.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
So simple and so effective. I used 1 can of Ro-tel and 2 cans of diced tomatoes with chilies, then I skipped the can of chilies. Have sour cream, cheese and plenty of corn chips to crush and put on top. Awesome cold weather soup.

Chinese Chicken Salad III

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
This salad just rocks. I added mandarin oranges, water chestnuts and toasted almonds. I also used chow mein noodles. The secret is the sauce. Put this sauce on a brick and the brick would taste good. My wife loves this and only asks that I stop her after two bowls. FYI-Williams Sonoma has some awesome peanut sauce if you don't have the time to make it.

BLT Salad

Instead of ingredients 2 through 5, just buy your choice of salad dressing. Otherwise, it's just a SALAD. Throw in the fridge's leftovers, such as onions, brocolli, carrots, cucumbers, whatever. I use this recipie only to remind me that I need to make and eat more salads!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2006
Instead of putting together the last 6 ingredients, I just bought a bottle of Italian dressing. I used turkey pepperoni, Rontini pasta and added a chopped red onion. Croutons are always good.

Baked Ziti I

This is sooo simple and it rocks! I add some Italian seasoning because I use store bought sauce and I add more Mozz. cheese on top because you can't have enough cheese. It makes a ton of food and it freezes well.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2006
I also doubled the potatoes, onions and celery. I used a bit of Kitchen Bouqet to brown the meat and I added a touch of liquid smoke to the crock pot. This is a complete meal!
