Buttery Cooked Carrots

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
Can also use a couple of cans of carrots. Leave no water in pan. My 4 year old loves this.

So simple, so good, and this is a kitchen sink meal, throw whatever you got in the pot.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2007
This isn't quite what you get by smoking the meat for 6 hours in a smoker, but it's close. I added a couple of shots of liquid smoke. Very good and very easy.

We doubled the amount of popcorn to make it less sweet and it was still outstanding and addictive.

Broccoli Rice Casserole

This is awesome and everyone asks for the recipe. Tastes a little like stuffing to me but it's still good.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
Really tasty marinade but it almost covers up the taste of the expensive steak. If don't like the taste of meat, this is a great marinade.

Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
I loved it. My wife thought is was a bit spicy and could overwhelm the meal so some may want to cut out the red peppers.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2006
I know good chili and this is outstanding chili! I added 3 cans of diced tomatoes in place of the tomato juice; added a couple cloves of garlic and a small can of green chilies. For those who want more heat, just add a few red pepper flakes to the individual bowls. So much better than the chili seasoning packets at the store.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
I don't like eggplant but my wife tells me this recipe is awesome and good for you. I sliced the eggplant 1/8 to 1/4 inchs thick, salted and let it sweat for 10 minutes between paper towels, then 10 minutes on each side in the oven.

Beef Teriyaki

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
This is an easy semi-healthy recipe that tastes like beef and brocoli, not beef teriyaki. I doubled the sauce, added 2 cloves of garlic, 3 green onions and some red pepper flakes. I'll make it again but I may change the name.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Tasty. The sauce and the dry toppings are enough to do several pounds of fish. I used almonds in place of pecans.

I had some serious cooks challenging my assertion that I used an instant pudding mix, and that I used reduced or no-fat cream cheese, milk and cookies.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I use only a 3lb roast and brown it using Kitchen Bouquet. I also add potatos, carrots, celery, etc. Cooked for 8 hours on low, a football would taste good.
