Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
Used this for an apple pie last night. It turned out perfect. I hand blended everything and it came together nicely. I didn't end up using all of the water though, only about half of what was called for. Thank you for sharing.

Apple Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
I made this last night. I used Fuji and Gala apples and no lemon zest, I didn't have a fresh lemon. It turned out lovely though. My sister says it's the most natural tasting apple pie she's ever had. Thank you for sharing.

Classic Fish and Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2014
This turned out great. My picky husband even liked it. I love the second fry on the potatoes, it gives them a nice crunch. I served this with homemade tarter sauce, cocktail sauce and ketchup.

Banana Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2013
This recipe is awesome. I added flax and walnuts at the end. I also made them into muffins and baked them for 30 minutes at 350. I will definitely be using this as my go to banana bread recipe. Thanks for sharing! :)

Eggplant Supper Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2013
I made this for dinner last night. It turned out excellent. Even my hubby ate most of his, and he doesn't like eggplant. I had to make a few adjustments based on what I had. Chicken base and water instead of beef broth, as well as, plain diced tomatoes with liquid. Also omitted the sugar and salt, and added oregano, cumin and worcestershire sauce.

Roast with Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2013
I made this for dinner tonight. It turned out really good. Hubby said if he didn't like coffee he might not have liked it as much. I only made a couple of changes. I omitted the bouillon, salt, and basil. I don't use salt and I didn't have the basil. In its place I used bay leaves, sage and Worcestershire sauce. It was super easy, and was very tender. My roast took a little under 2 hours since it was about 2lbs.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
This is my go to corned beef recipe. Today will be the third time I've ever made corned beef. I'm not sure what it tastes like other than this recipe, but I figure if I like it I should stick with it. It's not too salty, super easy, and fairly cheap.

Golden Chicken and Autumn Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2013
Made this tonight. Only changes were seasoning the chicken with pepper, garlic, onion and thyme before browning and added an onion to the veggies. It turned out great. Super easy, and quick. Will definitely make again, though I may try something other than green beans since the hubby didn't seem to care for them.

Leftover Pancake Breakfast Sandwich

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2012
My fiance thinks these are just a new pregnant thing but I have been making them for years. I add ketchup with the syrup though. A great quick and easy meal if your not going to eat for awhile or have some hard work to do. Plus so many variations to meats and cheeses. I do mine with an over easy egg and waffles mostly. Super easy to eat on the go. Just put it together, wrap it in foil and your ready to head out.

Allspice Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2012
Made this for a Gingerbread cake. Only made a half batch, had to add an extra tablespoon of milk though, was thick and clumpy. Also used pumpkin pie spice instead of allspice since that's what I had. Turned out very nice.

Double Decker Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2012
Making these for dinner tonight. No gaucamole though cause the grocer doesn't have any good fruit in. I know they will be good cause I made them for years at TB. Thanks for the recipe. Never tried to make them at home.

Cheesy Vegetable Chowder

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
Made this the other day. Turned out great. Only difference was I used different veggies, what i had on hand, and cheddar cheese instead of processed. It was super easy and great the next day. My husband liked it and he doesn't normally like soup. Will definitely make again.

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
Made this the other day for my husbands birthday. I thought it was a little too tomato-y, but my s.o. loved it. He wants me to make it this way every time. Great recipe!

Tender Taters

This was really good. The only thing i changed was i didn't drain the liquid, i like creamier mashed potatoes, and added a little half and half at the end instead of butter. Turned out amazing.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
This sauce is awesome. I don't really measure with most sauces, just look at the general amounts needed then go from there. I served it with portabello raviolis and it was amazing.
