I have a hubby & two daughters, Zoe and Leah. I love to cook but rarely get the chance to get creative in the kitchen as there is never enough time! I work on a casual basis and currently studing to become a nail technician.

I love to cook things that are quick and easy such as beef and vegie wraps, quiches, stir-fries, etc

My cooking triumphs
I would have to say that the first time I made a pumpkin pie (from this site) I was very impressed with how it all turned out. I gloated about it for days as it was so yummy. Pumpkin pie isn't very well heard of over here in OZ.
My cooking tragedies
I love to do my (roast) chicken in the microwave as it always comes out so moist and is alot more time efficient. However one day I decided to try a side of beef. Altered the timing slightly, and walah!, it came out like beef jerky. My husband still sat and chewed through it and even commented on how lovely his beef jerky roast was. He was legitamate, as I found him later that evening chewing on more in front of the T.V!

The crumbs didn't stick as well as I'd hoped, but the recipe tasted fantastic all the same! YUM

Swiss Chicken Casserole II
Delicious! I have made this several times with no variations. So quick to prepare. Great for families as a mid week dinner.

Baked Mushroom Thighs
This was quite an easy recipe, but lacked the flavour I thought it would have. Next time I might also add fresh cooked mushrooms to boost the flavour.
