I wasn't too sure I was going to like this but the flavors blended perfectly. One of the best pork chop recipes I've ever tasted. My husband said he could have done without the pecans but I disagree. As another user said, the key is to not cook the honey pecan mixture too long. Mine didn't get hard like candy at all. Oh, and I didn't have a lot of drippings in the pan so I added a little extra melted butter.
