Chef John's Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing

Loved this! Didn't have buttermilk so just used our 1% milk. I loved grating the blue cheese in a little at a time & grating a garlic clove into it. This is a keeper!!!!!

Fat Free Tartar Sauce

Baked Beans II

This is all most like the recipe I use from my Grandmother. The one difference is I use 2 tsp or to taste of dry mustard instead of the yellow mustard. Tastes wonderful!

Cheesecake Bars

I just got done making these and they are Yummy! I did substitute a few things. I used pecans (no walnuts),white sugar(out of brown). I made the filling just like it is. I did swirl chocolate sauce through the filling, being careful not to disturb the crust. I used cooking spray in my 8x8 glass baking dish and did not have trouble getting them out. Just cut them when they come out of the oven. Next time I'll make a bigger panful and double everything.

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Found these to be very good. The only thing I did different was add 1 stick of butter instead of margarine,a little more peanut butter and 2 pks of instant oatmeal cereal. Put them in a 9 by 11 pan and baked for 25 min. They firm up as they cool down.

Yum Yum Green Beans

I make a recipe like this called Hungarin beans. You saute bacon and a few garlic cloves (chopped fine). Add 2 cans of drained green beans and a large can of tomatoe sauce. simmer for 1/2 hour. Family asks for this at every holiday. Enjoy. Kthydake

Honey Baked Chicken II

Loved this! I used chicken breasts. Also followed the others and used less butter, dijion mustard, more curry and minced garlic. Cooked for 20 min. covered with foil and 20 min more uncovered. Had all most 2 cups of sauce so I took out the breasts, kept them warm, added the same amount of instant brown rice as sauce and baked it for about 20 min or till done. Went great with the chicken breasts. I'm putting this one in our family cook book.
