Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
I made it exactly as written and it was wonderful! Took the foil off for the last half hour so the sauce could thicken and develop a nice crust. Make sure you use a pan that leaves plenty of room on top or it will bubble over.

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
It was pretty good, but I think I'd prefer a different cheese next time. My family did like it with swiss, though.

These were pretty good. I added feta, chopped sundried tomatoes, kalamata olives, and a little bit of basil.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
This was really good and very moist. I probably didn't add enough salt to my marinade and next time will cut the brown sugar in half because it was a little too sweet for us. That being said, we reheated the leftovers the next day to serve with chinese chicken salad and it was awesome!

Sauce was super yummy! I overcooked by mistake but they were still very tasty. Hubby and son loved them!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
This was fabulous and so easy to make! Didn't have green onions so I just sliced a small yellow onion and sauteed it in the oil before adding the shrimp. Yum!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
WOW!!! We absolutely loved this! The only changes I made were dredging the chicken in flour as other reviewers suggested and using ground ginger since I didn't have fresh. Thanks for the fantastic recipe!

This was great! Omitted butter and only used a couple of tbsp's of olive oil. Also added sliced almonds. Yum!

Mushroom-Stuffed Chicken Breasts in a Balsamic Pan Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
I thought this was really good (loved the stuffing) but my husband thought it was just ok (not a goat cheese fan). Will definitely make again and just feed him something else! :)

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
The best cookie decorating frosting ever! And it tastes good, too! Colors stay vibrant and are easy to work with. Like other reviewers I found I had to add an additional 2 tsp of milk. Also used vanilla extract instead of almond but that's just a personal preference. Thanks for the great recipe!

Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
I'm giving this 4 stars but it's really not a fair review. We're on a restricted diet so I didn't use the butter but I bet if I had this would have been a 5+ star recipe. Instead I used a little grapeseed oil but followed the rest of the recipe. Took suggestion of other reviewers and steamed the green beans and carrots separately before adding.

Baked Honey Nut Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
This was so good and really easy! To cut some of the fat I omitted the drizzled butter but was still very pleased with the results. Will try to marinate the chicken in the egg/honey mixture next time!

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
So yummy! I added Lawry's season salt to the potato flake mixture which was great except for forgetting there was already salt in the garlic salt. Bummer! Resulting chicken was too salty but still really good. My husband raved and raved and said we should have this every week. :)

Whole Wheat, Oatmeal, and Banana Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
My 3 yr old and I really love these. We added a touch more brown sugar and vanilla and also doubled the bananas. Also replaced the oil with applesauce. Super yummy and healthy! Oh, forgot that we also added 2 tbsp ground flax seed for extra protein and couldn't even taste it. :)
