My cooking tragedies
The Thanksgiving I didn't double check the oven temperature and attempted to cook my annual corn bake on Preheat. Butter boiled over, burned, house filled with smoke, Thanksgiving contribution ruined. Always check the oven temperature.

Mediterranean Quinoa Salad
This was delicious. I replaced the chicken with a can of garbanzo beans to make it vegetarian. But 2/3 cup lemon juice??!! That's insane. I barely used 1/4 cup.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili
This is an excellent base for chili!! I added a can of black beans, a can of diced tomatoes, a can of corn, 3tbsp of chili powder, about 1/2 tsp of cumin, a splash of vegetable broth, a dash of nutmeg, and some chopped cilantro. Delicious and healthy.

Quinoa and Black Beans
This was excellent!! First time cooking/eating quinoa and am definitely a fan. I used one can of black beans like the other reviewers suggest. We spooned ours into little corn tortillas, topped with a bit of sour cream... yum yum yum. A new favorite is found.
