Mayo Free Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2014
I added grated broccoli stems as well but you couldn't tell they were in there. This was very very good!

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2013
I accidentally omitted the salt and was surprised that it wasn't even needed! I also cut the butter down to 1/3 c. It tasted great! I definitely will be making this again.

Tex-Mex Turkey Soup

This was excellent! The only changes I made were adding more seasonings plus half a can of chilies.

Beef Tips

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
This was awesome! I did a few modifications, though. I left out the garlic powder and the salt but I did add one beef boullion cube with the 2 cups of water, plus added only about 2/3 of the worcestershire sauce that the recipe called for. I cooked this for about an hour and the meat was very tender. I'll definitely make this one again!

Squash Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
This is so good, when I brought it to a small potluck dinner, 3/4 of it was gone in an hour! I had a 12 oz box of stuffing, so I used the entire thing and increased the margarine to 3/4 c. It smelled so good while it was cooking, it was hard to resist eating it before the potluck!

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
Very good tasting and it went over well at a potluck lunch! The next time I make it, though, I'll probably omit the 1/2 cup of butter as the casserole was very greasy. I'll try low-fat cheese as well.

Cottage Cheese Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
Wow, was this GOOD!! It tastes best warm, I think. I cut the yeast to 2 tsp., added more flour (about 1/2 c more) and used my Kitchen Aid with dough hook to knead. I baked it at 350 for 20 minutes or so. It made 2 nice-sized loaves. I will definitely make this again!

Smothered Bacon Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2007
Good recipe! The bacon really adds a lot! I used cream of chicken soup and cut the amount of sour cream down to 4-5 oz based on previous reviews. I also used 4 chicken breasts and 8 slices of bacon. Served over rice, this was very good! This is a definite keeper!
