Oven Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2013
I have made my eggs this way, and have had very good results. The convenience alone, is worth it. I agree with LDSMOM01, when you have a crowd to feed, it's much easier. Thank you Erin for sharing.

Herbed Biscuit Knots

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
I made these last night to go with my daughters lasagna. I used a can of store brand cheap biscuits so I wasn't expecting much. I also didn't follow directions, (was talking) and put oil on before I baked them, granddaughter read them and we put more on after. They turned out great compared to my expectations. After reading reviews tried them without salt. I may try a little (1/4 tsp.) next time. May also try twisting 2 ropes together to make a larger bread stick. Very good with little effort or expense. I will make them again. Thank you for sharing Mary.

I tried this recipe (cut it way down) several months ago and forgot to rate it. This dressing is the bomb! We all loved it. The only problem that I have is keep some in the fridge. Thank goodness it's easy to make. Thanks for sharing Danielle

Dried Beef Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
I've used a similar recipe for years. I use 2 pkg. cream cheese to dried beef, green onion to taste and worchestershire sauce. NO salt or MSG is needed.

Dried Beef Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
This is a very good simple cheese ball. Please DO NOT use MSG. It does nothing to enhance the food and some people are sensitive to it.

Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
I tried this method, didn't have turkey wings, used chicken thighs. The roasting with veggies made a tremendous difference. The aroma of the gravy was great. The flavor was so much richer. I will use this idea for gravy (Holiday meals) in the future. It's worth the extra effort. Thanks for the great tip.

Good Ol' Alabama Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
I am southern also and used to make my tea with 2 cups, but I have reduced my sugar to 1 cup and make a full gal. with 5 regular or 3 family size tea bags. I always get compliments on my tea. I sometimes drink it with no sugar. It is simply your choice on the sweetness.

Green Chile and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
We love this dish. I made it first time last Christmas and have made it most holidays since. I used mixed rice and cheese to my liking, also added mushrooms. This is one of those recipes that you can adapt to suit yourself. I gave it 5 stars because it is "the Best"!

Creamy Sausage Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
I made this for my daughter-in-laws birthday party and everyone really liked it. I mixed it up in the morning and put it in a casserole dish and refrigerated it until ready to go. When I got there, I stuck it in the oven for 30 min. and served it. In another 30 min., the dip was all gone! Easy to make and delicious, what more can you ask for? Thanks for the great recipe.

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
We added oatmeal to flour mixture as suggested by another reader, and doubled the cinnamon. This is an excellent recipe, tasted just like apple cobbler. I'm making again and will add walnuts to the topping mixture. Thanks for the great recipe.

Karen A's Chocolate Dump Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
Boys & Girls this cake deserves a much classier name! My family went nuts over it. I used vanilla pudding with a Duncan Hines Chocolate Fudge cake mix. This is THE easiest cake that I have ever made, and I have made plenty in the last 45 years. We're calling it the "Illegal To Eat Cake" (surely it will be against the law to enjoy anything that much in the future)Thank you so much for this recipe.

I have made this recipe with "Butternut Bars" and it is delicious. I am sure that any of your favorite candy bar(with crunch)or pudding flavors would work. I got my recipe from my Mom's (Kate Linville) church cookbook.

Chicken Roll Ups

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
For the reader who was skeptical about the use of Italian dressing. I have been using this dressing for many years to marinate chicken, pork tenderloin, and steak (cheaper than marinades). It works great! Everyone raves about the taste. I will try this recipe very soon, sounds delicious with the addition of bacon & bbq sauce.

The Sarge's Goetta - German Breakfast Treat

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
I couldn't wait to try this, so I paid a high price at the health food store for the oats. It wasn't difficult to make and my family loves it. I froze it on a wax papered cookie sheet and then put into freezer bags. This will be a regular for us. Thank you for sharing.
